National Night Out Building a Better Tomorrow Together
Be a part of the police-community partnership
Cincinnati Police District 2 invites you to participate in National Night Out 2016. The Tuesday August 2, 2016 national event is designed to raise crime prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood unity and spirit, and develop partnerships between the Cincinnati Police District 2 and the eastside communities.
National Night Out is an evening full of free food, music, drinks and fun for all ages. Cincinnati Police will have many pieces of their special equipment on display and residents can see how the police work each day to keep our neighborhoods safe. Owls Nest Park will be filled with exhibits and activities from local Community Councils and other volunteer groups.
There will be many attractions for children. Thanks to the generosity of Target, free school supplies are given to the first 400 children (K-8) in attendance. Target will also have a child fun area that will include carnival games and other activities. Children will also get a chance to see the police dogs, bicycles, fire trucks, and motorcycles.
This FUN and FREE event takes place Tuesday, August 2th, 6-9 pm at Owls Nest Park, 1984 Madison Road, Cincinnati Ohio 45208. Convenient parking is available at Cincinnati Public Schools’ Academy of World Languages, 2030 Fairfax Ave Cincinnati, Ohio 45207.
National Night Out is a great time to meet the police who serve your community, share your ideas with them and at the same time have a fun evening.
