- Promote better police-community relations – inviting atmosphere where members of the community, police and government officials can meet, get to know each other better and discuss common topics.
- Special emphasis is on youth, believing that if their initial meeting with police is good, it will influence a lifetime.
National Night Out Building a Better Tomorrow Together
National Night Out is an evening full of free food, music, drinks and fun for all ages. Cincinnati Police will have many pieces of their special equipment on display and residents can see how the police work each day to keep our neighborhoods safe. Owls Nest Park will be filled with exhibits and activities from local Community Councils and other volunteer groups.
There will be many attractions for children. Thanks to the generosity of Target, free school supplies are given to the first 400 children (K-8) in attendance. There will be multiple carnival games. Children will also get a chance to see the police dogs, bicycles, and motorcycles.
